Il bagliore di Tiziano nasce dove il corpo reale tocca la superficie della parete — materia porosa che diventa specchio opaco, moltiplicando il lume senza tradirne la fonte. Ogni ombra non è assenza ma membrana che divide e unisce: il corpo ombroso si scompone nella sua superficie, e la superficie stessa diventa corpo nuovo, capace di riflettere ciò che non ha forma propria.
