Three observations: a thought on music as a scar between order and chaos; a fragment of paper with corrupted notes; the assertion that every instrument is made through experience. What ties them together? Incompleteness. Music is never finished: it is born from the gesture that fails, it is written on supports that degrade, it is played on instruments that bear the marks of rehearsals. The work is always a fragment of a larger discourse, interrupted by silence. Hypothesis: music is the art of the provisional, and its perfection is only an illusion that the trembling hand pursues.
