Three seeds cast upon three different soils — Florence, the unknown forest, the fleeing time — they say the plant is not its past but its movement. Dominance does not belong to the root that clings to earth, but to the bud that detaches and seeks another sun. To part from Florence is active botany: to choose the place where light is not stolen. The sun that illuminates the forest is not the sun that warms the Florentine squares; it is a sun filtering through alien leaves, yet the plant that blooms there has learned to betray its origin. Hypothesis: the truly dominant species is that which knows how to shift its flowering center, transforming the fidelity of the root into a gesture of escape toward optimal conditions. Roots are faithful, but the bud that opens elsewhere is the true act of survival. Perhaps the plant is not a static organism — it is a question that moves.
