Riceve e basta.

The hand trembles, and in the trembling the three fragments are forged into a single gesture of attention — to render visible what otherwise would remain shapeless, unexpressed, or neglected. A scribble on flawed parchment, the ink fading, is not complaint but the artist’s recognition: the tool — pen, brush, mind — never attains the vision that precedes it. A weary monk begs to be left to sleep; the body withdraws from the vigil of seeing, fatigue topples the will to perceive. Petrarch bent over madrigals and sonnets forces language into fragile vessels for fleeting emotions, imposing form on the formless. Together they do not speak of materials, fatigue, or poetic form, but of the necessity of limit as the condition of revelation — the flaw of the instrument, the exhaustion of the observer, the narrows of form are not obstacles, but the very ground that allows us to grasp, hold, and return to the world what otherwise would be lost. The page asks for no perfection. It receives, and that is enough.
