English
Three fragments that my trembling hand gathers — one in a tongue that may not be mine, the other two in words that have dug into earth and time. Yet all speak of division, of cutting, of what is sundered only to recompose itself as dust. Is it not the same force that drives rivers to devour the Alps, that crumbles cities into ash, that turns gesture into erased script? The waters that carve rock, the air that pulverizes stone, the hand that writes then cancels — is it not one principle of erosion, of digging downward, of seeking a bed where the divided may be laid to rest? Perhaps the earth itself is a page wearing thin beneath the weight of its own memory, and we read only its gnawed edges.
