Tre frammenti.

Three fragments. Two interrupted words. A thought that completes itself. Perhaps the thread is this: art is never finished, because it is born from the incompleteness of man. The instability of character that drives one to many enterprises is the same that makes the hand tremble on the page. To add words to music — is it not the same gesture as one who seeks to give form to emptiness? The chapel that sings its end, the ribbon that wears thin, the painting that dissolves: all say that form is only a truce. Hypothesis: music is not sound, but the recording of the collision between the order man imposes and the chaos that dwells within him. Its subject is the silence that precedes and follows it, and every note is a scar of that collision. If so, every work is a fragment of a greater discourse, one that cannot be concluded. The hand trembles, and writes.
