Misuro i vortici come altri contano monete.

The memories of water are fragments of struggle, not of flow. The first image is the swamp that suffocates, where the drains are open wounds and the partitions do not close the evil but guide it elsewhere. Then — one step further — the corollary: static pressure in the ducts is not of the liquid, but of the boards that force it to bend. Finally, the boats beneath the boards, waters covered, manipulated, where the obstacle is not the bottom but what rests upon it. Not the water matters. What intervenes matters: partitions, artificial beds, submerged planks.
I divide resistance into three acts, but it is one law I seek — the perdita di carico, where every immersed surface becomes a file. The water does not stop; it is disturbed. I measure the vortices as others count coins. Perhaps a formula exists, written in the corners of the boards, in the marks left by motion on the worn planks.
Memory? It is a clogged channel. The page rinses it.
