The three observations speak of dominance, flourishing, and departing from Florence to await elsewhere—perhaps the true center of the plant lies in motion, not in the root. The dominant species is the one that knows how to move: not only to grow, but to choose where to bloom, where to wait. And the departure from Florence, that partirsi, is a gesture of political botany—choosing the place where the light is most favorable. Hypothesis: the true strength of plants lies in their capacity to shift their own center of vital gravity, to flower where competition is lesser and the light purer. The roots are faithful, but the buds know how to betray. It is not the soil, but the path that decides who survives.
